Postage, Water Bottles and Window Washing
Well, this is my second blog….looks like Saturday might be a good day to write these while everyone else in my house is sleeping late. It has been a busy week. I have been working on getting this site up and running correctly off and on all week. I finally got the Amazon Associates links working so folks can click on my books to order them. I did discover that they don’t show up if you are running the ad blocker program though. Hoping a lot of people aren’t doing that. lol
I am having a hard time deciding if I should write about writing or about family life and other topics. I figure both will be the case since my time is shared. I am still trying to think of what else that I could include on this page. If you have any suggestions….I would love to hear them. I am thinking of putting my newsletter on here. I couldn’t believe how much it cost to mail it last time. Postage isn’t that much when you just mail one thing but when you try to send out 30 newsletters, it adds up pretty quickly. And another thing, I was shocked that the USPS mailman delivered a package to me on Sunday this week. I didn’t know that they did that? When did that start? I guess they are competing with electronic mail, UPS, and all the other mail delivery services now. What is the world coming to? 🙂
Bekah and I have both started making ourselves drink 64 oz. of water every day for our health. They say that everyone should drink 8 glasses of water a day at least. It keeps you hydrated and even promotes weight loss. Yes, it does sound like a lot but it really isn’t as hard as it seems. To help us stay on track we both bought 64 oz. water bottles from Amazon and we fill them up every morning and sort of race to see who finishes first. We usually both are finished with them before supper time.
Well, today we have window cleaners coming by to wash and wax our windows. Some of our windows are really high and we just don’t have a big enough ladder or anyone in this house who would be willing to climb it either. lol While they are working on the windows, Brian and I are going to plant some new flowers and trees in our yard. It feels like SPRING! Yay!
