DJ’s Cheeseburger Pie

Cheeseburger Pie

1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Salt and burger seasonings to taste (I like using liquid smoke and steak seasoning.)
16 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can crescent rolls

Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.  In skillet, cook beef, onion and seasonings over medium heat until beef is brown; drain if needed.  Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. (I am going to stir the cheese in next time to hold the beef together better.) Layer crescent rolls on top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake about 10 minutes covered and then 10 minutes uncovered. Serve with pickles and mustard for that genuine cheeseburger flavor.  I made this for supper last night. Yummy!

  • Looks yummy. I’m going to have to try this. I make something similar, a cheeseburger ring. The only difference is I roll meat and cheese mixture into each individual crescent roll and bake on a pizza pan. Oh, almost forgot, I add mustard when beef has browned.
