Owls in the Attic – On Sale Now
Owls in the Attic is available on Amazon today! This is the second book in the “Secret Animal Agent Series.” If you enjoyed Penguins in the Basement, you’ll love Owls in the Attic. This book was so much fun to write. It took me about two months from start to finish, from brainstorming to publication, and I couldn’t have done it without the assistance and support of many other people. My husband, Brian, puts up with me obsessing about my writing when I should be doing other things, and endures me defending every word and punctuation mark to the death while continuing to edit my work when most other mere humans would have retreated in fear. My wonderful Mom-in-Law does the second round of editing and sometimes reverses her son’s grammatical decisions (much to my pleasure, more so probably than I should enjoy). My two best beta readers, Jean and Bekah, always find my plot holes and help to make my use of phrases more appropriate for all readers. My Mom, Chris, and Sam all read my pre-published book too, and although they did not find any corrections, they were very supportive and encouraging. I can’t say thank you enough to those who simply read my blog and leave an encouraging note. Sometimes I reread your messages when I need that extra boost. Although the suggested target reading age is 7 – 10, there are some large vocabulary words and interesting science information that I believe an older child would enjoy as well. So, without further adieu, here’s the info on the new book:
Annie meets Liam and Jack and the rest of their friends when she stumbles upon a mystery in her grandmother’s attic. An unexpected turn of events puts the life of the President of the United States in Annie’s hands. Saddened by the loss of her father, and bravely facing the challenges of low vision, Annie embarks upon a real adventure, complete with secret agents, terrorists, and owls!
