DJ’s Barbecue Pork Chops

It’s the simple things in life sometimes that make you happy.  I hadn’t made pork chops in months and decided to last night.  I’m sorry to say that I didn’t measure all of the ingredients that I used but if you are like me, you understand.  Sometimes you just have to taste your way to perfection.  I put some aluminum foil in my cake pan and sprayed it with cooking oil.  Then I laid down all of the pork chops and covered them with a homemade barbecue sauce.  I mixed brown sugar, honey, apple cider vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, liquid smoke, smokehouse maple seasoning, and barbecue seasoning together in varying amounts until the flavor tasted just right to me.  I smothered the chops in the sauce and then layered a sliced onion over it.  I baked it uncovered at 425 degrees for almost an hour. They were delicious!  Hungry for pork chops now anyone?  🙂
